National Vehicle Leasing Association names Tarry Shebesta, Second Vice-President, and presents him with the 2005 Preside

May 25, 2005

Cincinnati, OH - May 25, 2005. At the annual conference of the National Vehicle Leasing Association (NVLA) held in Orlando, Tarry Shebesta, president of Automobile Consumer Services, Inc. (ACS), was named Second Vice-President for this fiscal year. In this capacity, he will continue to oversee the Electronic Communications Portfolio committee. In addition to being named Second Vice-President, Mr. Shebesta received the coveted President's Award for conspicuous service above and beyond the call of duty.

Mr. Shebesta received the President's Award primarily for his contributions to the re-design and improved functionality of the NVLA.org website. In particular, the new website offers an online leasing education module, where various levels of leasing certification may be obtained online. Mr. Shebesta worked closely with the NVLA education committee to launch the first in the series of the Certified Vehicle Leasing program. This coming year, Mr. Shebesta and the education committee will focus on adding additional modules and launch an electronic publication called LegislativeWire, which reports on legislative activities impacting the leasing industry.

The NVLA provides educational opportunities, promotes responsible legislation, and communicates with members regarding developments and trends in vehicle leasing.

Shebesta has numerous years of experience in the vehicle leasing industry, particularly in the fast changing technology area. He is currently involved in managing his firm's successful websites LeaseCompare.com and FrontRowCars.com. He also serves as a leader in other industry organizations and earned his certification as a Leasing Consultant from the Ohio Chapter of the NVLA.

"Legislation and the increase of manufacturer subsidized leasing are causing uncertainty in the vehicle leasing industry. I am honored to be part of the NVLA leadership that will educate and guide members through these changing circumstances," says Shebesta. "Cooperation and sharing knowledge certainly benefits us all."
