Apr 3, 2002

Cincinnati, April 3, 2002 - Automobile Consumer Services, Inc. (ACS), a leading provider of automotive related services for the consumer, announced that their website has been named a "Best of the Web" site in Forbes magazine's special ASAP issue dated Spring 2002. One of only 60 websites highlighted by Forbes, acscorp.com was praised in the review for the help it offers car buyers in nailing down the best deal possible.

The American CarBuying Service site functions in two ways. First visitors can have acscorp.com act as a Buyers' Agent. The company will research vehicle availability and negotiate a competitive purchase price. By the next business day, consumers receive an email with a guaranteed quote along with the selected vehicle's Standard Equipment, Optional Equipment, Dealer Invoice Pricing and applicable manufacturer/dealer rebates.

Acscorp.com also offers a dealer referral. Consumers build the exact vehicle they want, find out the invoice price, and are referred to a dealer who as has agreed to sell the them the vehicle at a no-haggle, no-hassle competitive price.

"We strive to make buying a vehicle a pleasant and convenient experience," said Tarry Shebesta, president and founder of ACS. "Being selected a "Best of the Web" site is a reflection of our innovative approach to buying cars."

The Forbes article also notes that acscorp.com links to ACS's fleet buying and leasing services. At autofleet.com, small companies with as few as four vehicles can take advantage of savings and lease programs that are usually reserved for larger companies. Specially structured lease arrangements can be tailored to meet the needs of individual companies to minimize cost and maximize the quality of the vehicle fleet.

ACS's site LeaseCompare.com is the firm's latest entry into online automotive servicing. When consumers visit leasecompare.com, they can access a loan/lease comparison tool that allows them to evaluate financing options available from multiple lenders based on geography, terms, and vehicle. Consumers can then select the financing option that best fits their needs and apply for credit via a secured server - all in a matter of minutes. Once approved, customers review lease documents prepared by ACS, sign, and take delivery of their vehicle.
