BMW's reputation for performance and dependability is reflected in multiple rankings on the list. In contrast, Mercedes with its recent reliability problems has virtually dropped off the list with only the S Class clinging to last place on the used listing.

The knowledgeable consumers distinguishing between BMW and Mercedes are savvy about their financing as well. "Alternative financing sources, like LeaseCompare.com, have shown steady growth," notes Tarry Shebesta, president and owner of ACS. "Even those consumers who choose to lease through the dealer are using online sources for information and price comparisons."

LeaseCompare.com, as the name suggests, provides a tool to instantly evaluate leasing options from a number of sources. Customers can lock in the lease quote they like and apply for credit online. As an independent leasing company, ACS facilitates the entire leasing process.
